Who Owned Baseball September 30, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Drew Pomeranz threw 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run to earn the 6-3 decision over the Astros and clinch the AL East title for the Red Sox.

Jameson Taillon struck out 5 Washington batters and allowed 1 run over 7 innings, setting up Pittsburgh’s come from behind 4-1 win.

Mitch Haniger doubled 3 times and singled twice and scored in the Mariners 5 run 8th inning to come back and top the Angels 6-4.

Asdrubal Cabrera got 4 hits, including a double and a homer, driving in 4, leading the Mets past the Phillies, 7-4.

They all owned baseball on September 30, 2017

Ricky Nolasco allowed 1 run into the 6th but did not factor into the decision as the Mariners clobbered the Angels bullpen to win 6-4.

Matt Cain finished his marvelous career with 5 shutout innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4 Padres. True to his career, the Giants bullpen blew his lead and dropped the 3-2 final.

Kole Calhoun went 3 for 4 with a homer but the Angels collapsed to the Mariners, 6-4.

Domingo Santana got 3 hits including a 2 run homer that gave the Brewers a big lead. But the Cardinals stormed back, won 7-6 and eliminated Milwaukee.
